In a unexpected crossover event that defies traditional forecasts, the game developer has revealed an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Disclosed
According to the formal release, "A strange confrontation pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the darkness." The narrative features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a clandestine cult.
The questline concentrates on "peculiar tests and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Transformations
The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations.
