I'll overwhelm 'serious combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
